iPhone Launch Details Surface

According to the Boy Genius Report, AT&T stores plan on closing at 4:30pm in advance of the 6:00pm release.
In an effort to keep the iPhone from releasing early, reports have the iPhone shipments coming in between 4:30pm and 6:00pm local time. It's expected that staff will use this window to set-up displays and prepare the throngs of customers anxiously awaiting the release. Staff will close the stores and ask customers to leave until 6:00pm. No word on how this affects those who are planning on arriving early to wait on line. Still unconfirmed, but it's rumored that outlets will stay open until midnight on June 29th. No word on whether or not Apple Stores will follow suit, but it's a safe bet they will have similar marketing plans for the release. Stay tuned as more information should be available closer to the launch date. As expected, both stores expect to offer a selection of iPhone accessories for purchase.
